I hope you learned your lesson and will stop praising that horrible expensive gadget for once and for all. And that goes for everyone at Gizmodo. Buy yourself a Vaio Z and live like a human being - free and capable of everything! The thing is just as light but more powerful then the finest MBP, probably cheaper too to

Sounds too good to be true. I smell KIRF. It's probably a mock-up by by some Chinese company, it's not like they're not capable of whipping up something like this.

@alexsea: For some odd reason I'm getting the feeling that you're right.

What are you talking about.

@Settings: Next PSP, haha - good one. Knowing Sony, they will miss the big popularity and success train of the display panel by a week or month and will be forced to implement it in the next version of the device... when a better and improved panel is released... and the never ending story will continue.

@abadpun: Video output and screen resolution of a device aren't related in any way. Just like how Jersey Shore has nothing to do with time travel. Unless the technology has been modified or optimized to use electricity more effectively, an increase in brightness will lead to a higher power draw - so yes, that means

@80x24: I ate them all, sorry.

@thnikkamax: Hell, maybe even time travel.

When I was 12, I was more concerned about searching up cheats for games and waiting for weekends to play games with friends.

@Ahmed Alrasheed: Well, you deal with hardware not software so don't feel bad.

Idiots... I sometimes feel ashamed to be human. Thankfully I'm European though.

It's unbelievable the amount of comments that are being made here about the article picture instead of about the article itself. Just because it's a Sony Vaio (FW) and not a MBP, it doesn't mean you Apple sheep need to start bashing it. Let it go... you lost the war, accept the fact.

@Zoltan Shapiro: Right... despite the fact that the FW was introduced before MBP and it was in fact Sony that patented the clicklet-keyboard and Apple obliviously stole it. Also, the FW kills the MBP in terms of bang:buck ratio but that can be said for 98% of PCs.

@Arggh! there goes a...snake a snake!: I think the reason why we don't have that is for the same reason why we don't have a dislike button on Facebook. If there was one, the world would start to show their negative feelings more freely and WW3 would happen.

Steve is right... the Air isn't a netbook but it isn't a notebook either. It's in between, aka - absolutely useless and expensive.

@RT1000: What you demand are dreams that Steve is never going to materialize.
