I'm vaguely uncomfortable with the "Oh, once you get to know him, he's really not that bad" tone here (a staple of the partners and family members of chronic abusers), but I'll set that aside and focus on the points you raised.

I can't miss Colton Haynes. Not just because his character was so completely insufferable (and his sneering performance so groan-inducing), but because he's landed on "Arrow". I like this video. It speaks to me.

Huh! And speaking of the venerable C= 64, and computing history, Slate's spotted a new book with a rather unwieldy name. Guess that's what happens, when you decide to use a BASIC program as your title.

I don't even know enough Supertramp to hate them, but I admit that I think "Take The Long Way Home" is a rather pleasant song, in a poppy, hooks-laden, plebian sort of way. If that makes me uncool then, well, it'll be lost in the noise anyway.

Anyone else see the irony in Steve Heisler's musings on our propensity for reflection (or lack thereof), when they're found in the closing paragraph of a review series dedicated to going back and re-watching episodes of a canceled show? ;-)

It is a great episode. It's also the ONLY Season 5 episode that has any right to wear the name "The West Wing", and it took them until ¾ of the way through the year to even come up with that meager offering.

Erm, I'm not sure you can call it "stealing" from each other, if they don't own the lyrics they're posting in the first place. Can't have it both ways.

Baywatch Nights season 2, maybe? (Wow, we really do hate Nathan.)
