Yes. But can it blend!?
Wow. This is the first time I've ever heard of Gears of War ever having a PC version.
This game will have support for DLC content in the form of additional new cases to solve. BRILLIANT.
@Linkitch: This is Eidos. Eidos was bought by Square Enix. I consider the two to be completely different beasts.
It'll probably be good for the single player. Studio KAOS' track record for creative multiplayer combat design has been fairly poor.
@Batman: If it becomes poorly received, yes. When each successive game is poorly received by both the gaming masses and critics, the cumulative "successfulness" for the franchise goes down.
@MrNose - FOR THE CHICKEN!!!: Edit - nevermind, seems like the posts aren't showing the "Show # Replies" properly. I had to go into settings manually.
@SixTwoSixFour: No actually, Tthat's more in line. If you really wanted to bring the hurt, you'd have to recall the memory of one of the most failed game launches in history: APB.
@MyPonyRocks: This isn't charity. This is desperation.
@GtheMVP99: This problem is similar to what happened to ff13, so yes you're correct. They likely did market testing in the U.S. and Europe for FFXIV alongside FFXIII, and the information came to both teams too late to make significant enough changes.
@Saturnine: Fact. WoW is being over-dramatized here. It needs to be staked through the heart by the death-fingers of Bobby Kotick.
@Dreamwriter: Only the stupidity is the same, and it's tainted XIV just as badly as XI had been early in its life.
@Saturnine: FF13 suffered from the same hubris as FF14. Don't forget that.
@b.bear: How dare they use the PC players as beta testers! (Partly sarcasm, partly serious.)
@warchief_zuljin: They say something, but do the opposite. The designers themselves have said that the only MMO they'd ever played was Final Fantasy XI.
@MrNose - FOR THE CHICKEN!!!: Congratulations, Mr. Internet Right.
What, no Felicia on the cover? I'm disappointed.
