true! yellow implies that she's somewhat cowardly though (lately she doesn't really have enough of a personality to be cowardly or much anything else )

Oh I wasn't counting the Vanilla Ren-Fair Escapee look she wears in Camelot as her Dark One outfit at all- since she's still kind of fighting it there. I mostly meant the black leather things they've had her in when they're in Storybrooke- I like her darker lipstick (though her hair is awful- why feathers? I

Belle, the pink one (works for sunburns and they do tend to put her in pink a lot)

Her styling is so much better though. It's going to be so sad when she inevitably goes back to the light and has to give back that crocodile textured black coat and those cigarette pants (and other than her hair being inconsistently colored, her makeup has been much better this season).

She doesn't necessarily have to go back to where she was (arc wise) but she's definitely not as well rounded/well written of a character as she was before Olicity became a thing. She's allowed to change, but the show constantly saying "oh she's awesome" but not actually bothering to show it, is not okay (if they made

Yeah, but they're much more willing to also show how great Oliver is whereas lately with Felicity, they haven't. She's admittedly better than last season, but she's still not back to where she was (nor is she likely to get there as long as Olicity remains a thing).

When Liv ate that artist's brain in s1, she definitely had sexy feelings towards all the ladies in that guy's life. The show didn't do anything with it (certainly not as obviously as with Lowell) beyond having her sort of flirt/make googly eyes at all the women they interviewed.

It's just a terrible choice for head/identity protection. It also looks like a Judge Dredd knock-off. If they wanted a helmet style, I don't know why they didn't go for something more like Captain America's helm that at least allows the wearer peripheral vision and better hearing (in some versions).

I want Constantine to be a regular on this season so much! They're dealing with magic, it's just perfect for him to swagger on and make himself at home for a bit. Excited for his one episode at least- hope they decide to do more with him!

plus i feel like it probably interferes with his vision? It's neither functional nor fashionable.

pretty sure it's his grandmother in the prologue? he calls her "bubba", doesn't he? which is i think an eastern european word for grandma. Also she's probably a bit too old to be his mom.

cannibalistic orgies for sexposition? Honestly, I don't think HBO could make improvements on this nightmare fuel much. They'd probably just add more butts.

to be fair, we haven't had any real sexposition in awhile now (two in this episode though!).

Excuse you, but you don't actually know me so where do you get off? Also she's a character on a show so has no actual agency. The show creators chose to add that bit to their relationship to further Sam's plot/character arc, not hers. It's just so unnecessary and gross.

Okay I will grant you on semantics. Most people who have recently been assaulted don't want to go have sex afterwards. I'm just so sick of this show mishandling how people react to traumatic events (also treating like women as prizes to be won).

Sorry, but no woman wants to have sex directly after being sexually assaulted. Not even if it's with her "rescuer"- that whole scene was just so gross on so many levels. Also totally added- they just do it on the ship in the book, was it really necessary to add the "damsel in distress" aspect to it?

aww that's not fair. Laurel has been so much better this season (better than Oliver in places)! Iris and Barbara from Gotham can go have a spinoff somewhere though.

i'm pretty sure the Lances just share one brain and only one of them is allowed to use it at any one time. Explains why Detective Lance is suddenly so dumb and Laurel is actually making reasonable decisions.

This episode was pretty great, especially Mark Hamill (who I will never be able to unhear as the Joker, even when he's playing somebody else). Also the star wars nod was so fantastic.

I also like them as bffs but I could ship this.
