My FIL is one of those. He caught it after his colon resection. What’s funny is that it didn’t kill him. What almost killed him? A man without a functioning colon attached eating cookies and drinking beer to the point of near renal failure.

Right there with you. Best outcome here is for him to die horribly and publicly, and maybe make some people go “holy shit, this is serious.”

I certainly don’t wish anyone serious harm or death but this kind of shit is pretty sweet, I gotta admit. My sister’s friend and her family were obnoxious Covid deniers, and just last week they all came down with it. Did I laugh? Of course not.

For a covid denier with that level of privilege and access to knowledge, resources, and healthcare, not only do I have no sympathy, I’m glad he got it and I hope it fucks him up for the rest of his life.
