I also avoid anything that seems popular at the time, so I avoided Schitt's Creek for that reason. I'm on season four and enjoying it.

I caught the first few episodes on E! one night when I couldn’t sleep. I ended up watching the whole thing the following day. I’m not a fan of Sara Bareilles (I think her music is boring), but that “I’m Afraid” song cracked me up.

My sister told me to check it out. Her daughter (who reminds me of my mopey teen self) loved it. When it was on, I avoided it like anything popular at the time.

When I got HBOMax, I watched it to see what the hype was about. The commercials just made me think that the writers were lazy and thinking that a bunch of cursing would automatically make it funny. Nope. The writing was great, the comedy wasn’t lazy and was clever, and now I see Bane in a new light (my boyfriend does

This week, I was rewatching 30 Rock while working. My boyfriend said that he refused to watch it when it came out because he hated Tracy Morgan. After a few episodes, I got him hooked. We're on Season 5 now.

I watched Paddington this past New Year's since it was the first thing on tv. I thought it was cute, sweet, and the opposite of what the trailer made it out to be.

If Clueless came out today, I wouldn't even bother with it. I watched it a few weeks ago for nostalgia purposes (and to stare at Paul Rudd).

I barely saw Mean Girls like six years ago. I stayed away from it because of Lindsay Lohan, thinking it was going to be like every other teen movie that came out at the time. I was so wrong!

What We Do in the Shadows (the show). I enjoyed the movie, but hearing that the show was going to take place in New York and making it a similar style to The Office just sounded like it was going to be awful. Basically, an American remake of something just sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. I did like the first

Forgot about Angie Tribeca and will watch that next. The bf and I have been watching 30 Rock. I watched it here and there when it on the air. He never got into it before but now loves it.

Lately, I noticed friends being open about their financial struggles, and they have full time jobs. I’ve been asked if I can spare some cash from a few, who never do that. One was honest and said that it was for beer for the weekend, which is fine. Meanwhile, there were a few times in the last few weeks where I

Yeah, seriously. In the last two weeks, I find my comments disappearing, not even in the grays! This comment won't be seen from the looks of it.

A family friend would make soy chorizo from scratch for her vegan husband. She brought some at a potluck and it ended becoming a hit.

That’s great that you are continuing therapy. I understand the whole depression situation (I have it an the pandemic and living situation isn’t helping). Finding the right therapist is hard.

I was going to wonder how they were going to handle the Cheddar situation, since the real-life puppy named Stewart is no longer with us anymore :( Actually they are played by multiple corgis. I had to look it up.

I can’t see the comment I wrote yesterday, but those pickles look delicious! Cucumbers straight from the garden are the best!

Feel better. Migraines totally suck. Looking forward to hear about more gatitos and gatitas!

Oh man. In my old neighborhood, there was this posh Korean restaurant that made lychee martinis with soju. They were so good and easy to drink, which made them deadly.

Also, cucumbers from the garden are absolutely delicious! My parents gave me a few along with a bunch of tomatoes (so excited) and hot peppers. I’m looking forward to some bad ass salads and salsas.

Whatever you cook, I can’t help but stop myself from getting close to lick my phone. That salmon and pilaf look yummy.
