We'll see. Amazon is certainly making enough on their digital book business to take a short-term hit with a pricecut. If this hurts anyone, it's the Nook Color and Nook Tablet. Though, we'll see.

This could just mean a Kindle Fire pricecut to $150, which would be pretty tempting to people.

This seems more like a shot at the Nook Tablet than the Kindle Fire, as this basically gets rid of the Nook Tablet's selling point of "You can root it and have a decent Android tablet for the price." But with an Android tablet with much higher specs at that same price point now, it's gonna be a hard sell. Unless

If you're technical at all, I'd recommend going with a Nook Tablet that is rooted instead. Sure it's $50 more, but it handles video a lot better than the Kindle Fire. If you were just talking about casual internet browsing and reading, the Kindle Fire is fantastic, but if video is your thing, the Nook Tablet is less

So the Google Nexus phones don't have it but the Galaxy S2 has it? Darn. Well, hopefully a fix will come for it soon. I just got the phone, and I'd rather not root it yet. :)

Have they confirmed whether the recent American Galaxy S2 has it?

He worked on some tech stuff. Ya know, all that jazz.

I do have a feeling calling it "YAol" would get it all sorts of attention.

Because the Intellivision is magic!

Glad to see Chromebooks catching on.

I do suppose it could be a misunderstanding at first, but the manager wouldn't have called 911 if there wasn't an actual issue there. Being treated rudely by employees is definitely something that happens, but for all of the employees to respond in that manner, it really makes the idea of the entire staff being

The idea that they may have a history with the store is certainly a more reasonable assumption than to jump straight toward "They're racist". Now, if it was one employee, it might be more questionable, but when every employee in the store, including the manager, have the same reaction toward these men, it becomes

It sounds like these two men have a history with the store. Are we really sure this is the first time they have gone into the store? Because, if they have caused problems before, it makes sense for the employees to be angry that they came back.

@WiFi: Yeah! It's an attractive, young Japanese woman; certainly there are better things to do. :P

I'm really looking forward to all of this being over. Just... over.

@Manly McBeeferton: I stay consistent with my meat consumption and eat people, too. My conscience is clear. :)

So it's directing people like cattle using their natural response to guidance. That's... just fantastic.

I tried hope for a while... Then an editor spit at me for being insolent...

Why are you even bringing up standards of journalism on Giz? Take that crazy old stuff somewhere else! This is the future, babay!

That sounds like a great idea.
