@sirmeili: "Doesn't android do the same thing?"
@handheadman: I agree, the comparison Adam makes isn't exactly for power users - more for the average user.
@NickFoote: That's a very nice metaphor, I like it.
@scoobertron: Apple doesn't decide which apps can be open at the same time. You can leave all of them open if you're so inclined! iOS 4 just "pauses" the app when it's not on focus: except for some basic functions, your app is frozen in the background, consuming much less memory and CPU cycles than if it were left…
@citaro: This is a community we can be proud of!
@trellis23: Multitasking in mobile devices MUST consider battery life. I love Android, but I was glad when Apple released selective multitasking, because (at least in theory) that's how it's supposed to be on a mobile device. While batteries don't evolve at the same pace as battery usage, we have to adapt the software…
@crosstip: Is it the stock music player? Because that's just bad. The stock video player is even worse.
@ckcallen: Weirdly enough, now I think smooth scrolling is distracting! I used Opera for years - up until Chrome was released - and one day I decided to turn off smooth scrolling on Opera. I didn't miss it at all - and still don't.
@Gonzie: I didn't mind it until you mentioned it. F*ck yeah, why count @username as characters? It's who you're sending the tweet to, not part of the message!
@Billiam_Bisquits: I'm definitely not an expert when it comes to Chrome extensions, but I don't think it allows that much tinkering with the interface. I am sure it's not currently possible to put a search box next to the omnisuperbar, nor is it possible to affect how bookmarks are displayed.
@Christopher Burgess: Brizzly does that too. Gotta love webapps!
@soren121: "they will wrap all links that spill over the character limit in their very own, new t.co shortener"
@sarge5: "9 products got that ranking. That doesn't mean they're equally good."
@sarge5: They never said it was the best, they said "it was the highest ranking free option".
@meatbag_pussrocket: Can we heartclick a whole comment thread? Heck, I'll bookmark it!
@thatdecade: I'M HAPPY! Sad :(
@ckcallen: What don't you like about it?
@Gonz: Links are made automatically, but you need to put http : / / in front of it. You can also use HTML. More about it here: [gizmodo.com]
