What if you make a law that states that a driver must repair a recalled vehicle during a certain period? But only if the recall in question concerns the safety of the driver, occupants, pedestrians and other people in traffic. So not the entertainment system or maybe massaging seat and so on?

Yes! As long as you try to challenge the status quo of the automotive journalism! Enough is enough, in these couple of years everyone has tried to be the next Top Gear... I love them, but we desperately need something new.

Will do!

Oh, no... not even close. :) Serbia, Eastern Europe. But I like reading you work because it teaches me how to look at certain situations and problems, which I think is generally very useful for my life (I’m in my late 20’s). So, your work helps people to grow... that’s what separates it from the standard Jalopnik

You and Tom McParland are the best feature of this website. Other news are just fun stuff garbage full of swearwords. You two seem experienced, skillful, logical, honest... even if your posts help you to find new clients, it is well deserved. I get the sense that you take pride in your work, and that makes the post an

We constantly read that the flying car is just two years away. In fact, we've been hearing this for decades. So who's promising one this week? A little company called AeroMobil, whose CEO made a big splash at South by Southwest with his announcement of a release by 2017. But if the AeroMobil flying car is released in

How about... use the Polo platform, so in matters of size, it would be in the middle. Then try and make it simple, to be cheaper and more available to young couples who could even fit a baby or a toddler in the back? So, the back is something like a 911 back seat... just for emergency, or for a small child. And make

I've got a question: what if the chassis is damaged(bent)? Can it be repaired and is that car going to be safe for further track use? And, in general, is buying a car with a slightly damaged chassis a smart thing to do? (for example if it is not broken, but rather a little bit bent)

hahaha... spot on! I to was always wondering why the floor in front of the passenger seat was always wet!

I can confirm that the heater always worked! My mom had a Samara 1300s until 2006, and the heater worked even if you put it to blow just cold air. I don't know why, but we never succeeded to adjust it to blow cold air? It was always blowing hot air... literally.

Every CFO on the planet will now laugh at my naiveté, but would it really be impossible for a company like BMW to make 500,000 cars a year, cars it wanted to produce and which squared with the brand image it has carefully cultivated for decades, and still make good money? I can't see why it would be impossible.

I envy you for not understanding a word of that song (which is actually a commercial for a local tunning shop)… it gave me cancer.

I agree. Would the consumers who make the biggest percentage on the sales chart pay for all those changes?

I agree with your article. It's a shame that nothing about wear and tear was mentioned in this article. Just eco, eco, eco… global warming…and so on…

Also… I would like to hear the prices on some of the tracks. How much is a typical track day (in the USA)? Does anyone have some numbers about some smaller tracks in Europe? Hungary? Austria? Tnx

Well... the new XC90 looks good, and the latest concepts are very good if not stunning... they shouldn't mess around a lot with the buyers.

My first thought was... damn... Volvo XC90 just scored 1:0

How much is that in Nissan Versa currency?

The most beautiful thing would be to make a Ferrari chassis inspired by the Ferraris from that era. Try to make something like the Sergio concept. Not literally like the concept, but the same basic idea.
