Yeah, I thought that was the entire point! He's a despot.

It bugs me when people complain about its lack of exposition/dialogue. That's a feature, not a bug!
It is and I will fight anyone who says otherwise.
Right! You Never Know is a pretty decent song.
He was really good at it. He really seemed to be moving into more of a jammy funk direction before he died. It would've been cool to see him go all out with that style in the 70s.
I spent a lot of time in my adolescence listening to and trying to mimic the guitar playing on (with little success) the three Jimi Hendrix Experience albums, but somehow I never really listened to Band of Gypsys. I'm making up for lost time now, 15 years later, and listening to it a lot.
I thought that for the longest time, but re-visited it a few months ago and now I love it. Side With The Seeds is Nels at his best.
I liked Star Wars the most of their post-Sky Blue Sky albums, but the other two are worth listening to. Wilco (The Album) is still a low point, though.
Myth is one of the prettiest songs I've heard in my life and I still get goosebumps listening to it.
Thank Your Lucky Stars is my favorite Beach House album, I've decided. No filler, all ethereal killer.
Kurt Cobain seemed like a dick.
I saw them later on the Songs For The Deaf tour, after Grohl had returned to his home planet, unfortunately. Still a great show!
But also Nate Mendel is insane because he doesn't think HIV causes AIDS. But he's also right about A320 being great.
That's a hidden Foo Fighters gem for sure. There are few things as 90s as "Foo Fighters song on the X-Files soundtrack", though.
He went platinum selling rhymes, as well.
Light Grenades was pretty lame. A Crow Left Of The Murder was OK, but I remember not liking it as much as Morning View.
Van Halen (DLR era) rules and I won't hear otherwise.
I had a version of Stash on my first iPod that I downloaded of Kazaa or something that was the best I've ever heard and had an awesome solo. I have no idea what show it was from and I've driven myself crazy trying to track it down.
"Sing It Again" is such a great song on such a great and underrated album.
The Bronze maybe my favorite QOTSA song - top three for sure. That long fuzzy solo is the balls.
