Empire Records sucks ass.

I also never saw it and never felt like I missed out on anything.

After much consideration, I'm gonna have to go with Encino Man for my pick.

It has Michael Caine talking about camel toe. How can it not be good?

Weather Man is a movie that I love very much and is the rare latter-day Cage movie where he isn't a total lunatic.

Yeah, for me, Travolta makes the movie. Just ham central.

Fire Down Below is such a hilariously stupid movie.

Starship Troopers was the first time I ever saw boobs in a movie. I was a very pivotal moment in my childhood.

I must hear this masterpiece.

Three Kings is awesome. That's all I have to offer.

"A wizard did it" always works for me.

Travolta is soooo good in this move. I wish he had more opportunities to just crank it up to 11 like he does in Face/Off.

I could eat a peach for hours.

I think it's because music and TV are much easier to consume. I feel like I'm able to form my own opinions on those fairly easily. With film, I'm woefully underinformed and always looking to learn something new.

1987: Lethal Weapon
1988: Coming To America
1989: Major League
1990: Goodfellas
1991: Silence of the Lambs
1992: Wayne’s World
1993: Jurassic Park
1994: Pulp Fiction
1995: I should say Casino but if I'm being honest it’s actually Billy Madison
1996: Fargo
1997: Boogie Nights
1998: The Big Lebowski
1999: Fight Club
2000: American

I have't watched Assassination of Jesse James since it came out, I need to do so again.

I miss the pre-exodus AV Club, and The Dissolve. I learn more from reading about film than I do TV or music.

Totally.

So, none of them had Fury Road as their favorite movie of 2015? Fascinating.

If the Cubs hadn't run out of steam against the Mets in 2015, it would've been a similar vibe to the 2014 Royals. The 2015 team wasn't supposed to be good yet, whereas the 2016 team was the favorite all season. My parents are from KC, so I was cheering hard for them in 2014. What an incredible run.
