Honestly, while I'm still not 100% sold on the platforming mechanics (no jump, wft whine whine), the music singlehandedly keeps me coming back for more.

"Nono, stand still so I can shoot you. Goddammit! Fix your sensor and stand still already so I can shoot you!!"

In concurrence with most of the comments already, this game is so fucking hard, but the soundtrack is unbelievable.

Awesome soundtrack, but the AS anime in itself is just a collection of carefully researched stereotypes and techniques commonly employed in generic anime.

In Japan, they're actually pretty easy to come by. I scored mine from Bic Camera where they had piles of them for 51000 (special edition included).
