Really depends on what you're considering the industry which sounds like brick and mortar. Online retailers appear to be doing juuuuust fine. I will be completely shocked if half the brick and mortars are around in 10 years. Good or bad there depends on your perspective. For myself brick and mortar provides no benefit.

Yea I can’t do anything about that but its difficult to deny the reception games like Gloomhaven, 7th Continent and Scythe have had. Certainly don’t deny there’s plenty of crap but that’s similar with retail.

You can totally find Gloomhaven cheaper. Even with Prime shipping Amazon is almost always 1 of the most expensive places to buy a board game.

I would recommend to anyone wait until they release an expansion for this. Fallout is a great board game mired by a couple awful design decisions. Namely the win/game end condition is absolutely abhorrent. Fantasy Flight is known for releasing games like this and then fixing them with an expansion. I would expect the

Its important to know I’m 6'5" and was always tallest in class mostly all the way to through high school. In 7th grade I made a joke to my buddy sitting in the desk in front of me that his mom was a lesbian. I don’t remember if she really was or not. He stood up in front of me desk and took a swing that hit my

Indeed its amazing. For me 7th Continent is a very very very close 2nd.

My biggest issue with the movie is Han Solo just never felt like Han Solo. Harrison Ford obviously has huge shoes to fill and I just don’t think they were close to filled. Lando was done so well though.

Kickstarter has been a wonder for the industry. I’ve got so many incredible games that surfaced from there. I’m honestly impressed how often creators deliver on their promised products.

These are fantastic TVs. We have an S model and a P model. You’re kidding yourself if you don’t think these stack up to 4k sets double the price.

Yeah I really didn’t mind them but you did manage to find something negative to say about a mostly beloved game so I’m sure the article will get a ton of hits. I mean that unsarcastically, I’m all for anything that helps Kotaku make $.

Just FYI HDR isn’t a pspro perk, the regular PS4 does HDR as well.

Luke I love your coverage on board games however more would be great while you’re just 1 person. Are there any plans to branch the board games into their own big blog with some new writers to help out? There is definitely no shortage of content to cover with you only getting a sliver and given that were still in the

Agreed fully. By the way I recommend checking out Century Golem. I play a lot of heavy heavy stuff like Lisboa, Gaia Project, Anachrony etc. For me someone like Scythe is light, same with a feast for Odin. All that to say that Century Golem is entirely kid friendly, my 6 year old was able to wrap her head around how

My buddy told me he had this problem this afternoon but myself and the other 5 people I know with it on ps4 haven’t had any issues.

You need to become a dollar shave club man. Seriously, their razors are legit and they are cheap as shit.

Come back when you know more about board games than Monopoly buddy.

And I’m not going to continue spinning my wheels with someone who is at most a casual board gamer about board games. It is clear you know very very little about the hobby. Check please.

Yea you got a pretty niche group there. Glad you guys like it!

You say price is a problem and yet price has not been an issue for many many more expensive board games. It certainly hasn’t held kingdom death which starts at $400 for the base game and goes over $2000 for everything. This is simply not a game a mass of people are interested in, that is the point. Great that you love
