I’m incredibly surprised by the receptive responses. If I were to post something similar on Facebook that has mostly Oklahoma folks on my friend’s list, well you can just imagine. If only the cost of living weren’t so low and IT jobs so plentiful here...

Its an equalizer, at least much more so than my legs. Let the record show that we do not own any, it was simply a conversation we had yet decided it was more likely escalate a situation to a point of no return rather than defuse. Hopefully you all don’t read about me being gunned down in a road rage incident later

Looks fine so far as I can tell.

Highly recommended! The P series is even better but this price is super for the 55" S, we bought a 49" S for this price and are really pleased. We’ll be revisiting TCL next year to replace a 3rd TV after having bought the S and P this year (wife wants both TVs in the living room to be the same size, lucky me!).

I’m monitoring the North Korea situation closely before making my final decision on firearm ownership.

Living in Oklahoma I’ve actually told my wife we needed to consider owning firearms simply so we can defend ourselves against everyone else who owns 1 that may decide to brandish it over petty shit like roadrage. Its not the gangs or fear of a break-in, its all my fellow regular law abiding citizens that I fear. Shit

You guys ran stories about how terrible the stadium was and it running out of water at half time last year. I’d bet that has a bigger impact than lack of people wanting to see them play.

Thanks, I would have never figured this out on my own.

Someone actually tried to argue the whole kaep without a job but mccown having 1 by justifying it by him having the highest QBR in 2013. I just said OK and walked away.

IMO its a number of things combined. The salary cap is probably the least considered but most impactful. Because of the cap being where it is it forces teams to have a few high paid guys and fill out the rest with a lot of low paid guys, in particular those on rookie contracts. In other words the salary cap doesn’t

Totally agree with your statement I just wish there was as big of a push to support unions for the average Joe and not just sports stars.

And people say when this happens in Madden its not realistic.

Yea that sucks. I’ve got the 55 P and 49 S Anand both are good but the S is destined for the bedroom, the wife wants our living room TVs to be the same size so hopefully TCL makes next year’s even better as we’re happy and will be sticking with them so long as their TV’s are as good as this year’s.

Its good but the viewing angle is admittedly awful and will look as you described if you couldn’t see it straight on like if it was hanging 10 feet up for instance. Check out rtings theyve got a great write-up on it and the P series which I recommend over this though it is only in a 55.

Ah, thanks for your expert analysis.

This is a great TV though if you’re spending this amount I recommend their P series. We own the 49" of this model and the 55" P series and the P is a little superior visually but carries more features that aren’t going to make you feel like you’re missing out in a year (Dolby Vision, wide color gamut). Either way if

Exactly. I’m on the stance of going either way with how they price but the logic behind why it is how it is vs them raising the price remains the same.

I guess in your world consumer goods should never increase in price with inflation. Got it, noted.

Woosh
