What a great idea, why didn’t I think of that?

References? Or is this just anecdotal?

As an added benefit of that, our insurance rates would likely go down a bit

Enough that it would be an inconvenience and if you can’t see that it would be an inconvenience in these types of situations you’re just being obtuse.

I’d love this when I’m backing my car out of the garage to get it out of the way of something I’m working on, or when I move it from the driveway to the garage, or when I’m moving it to get another car out, or doing one of the million other things that don’t really require a seat belt.

Man Jalop hates Carvana like they hate Tesla.

Lenoir’s Hippomobile was, in all probability, not fueled by hydrogen, but by turpentine or some sort of liquid carbohydrates. That is one of those annoying myths from the history of technology that is so hard to overcome (because it keeps getting regurgitated even in peer-reviewed media).

Perhaps it is the first “truck” in the same way that Chrysler invented the minivan and the Explorer was the first SUV. Vehicles of similar design and purpose existed prior, but they weren’t called that. Is there historical evidence of any of your examples having been called a “truck” when they were produced?

I mean if we’re being honest here

LOL, now that would be an article I would be shocked to see.  They SHOULD write that article but never will.

LOL, “Union bosses ask their members to bend over and open their trunk. Tonight at 10.”

So >100 years ago then?

U.S. Union Bosses screwing over their members for their own benefit, news at 11.

Where’s that Jalopnik apology to GM for criticizing GM on their anti-competitive suit against FCA?

So the rank and file got basically nothing for union membership. In essence, they just handed money over to their union bosses with FCA as a conduit.

When haven't unions been corrupt?

Iit's nothing compared to the billions the Obama administration dumped into Chrysler

30 million? That’s it? What is that like half a day’s profit?

It pretty much has to be on both sides or what is the point.

So it was corruption on both sides? Yikes.
