Wow, they’re really angling for the Wrangler crowd after all!

When they are brand new dealers will undoubtedly mark them up and order heavily optioned units for their inventory. But I’m sure you can work with a reputable dealer to order the spec you want if you are willing to forego being the first to show up at your local C&C with a C8 Z06.
I’m sure hypothetically one could be had for $80-85k. But I bet virtually all the ones on “dealer lots” will be over $100k. Still a bargain compared to the competition. But, uh, not a “bargain.”
I really think the C8 Z06 is going to be the sports car performance “bargain”(between quotes because I know it’s not inexpensive). The Corvette in general has always held that crown, but if the Z06 starts under $80k I’m not sure anything else will ever come close to the performance/$ available.
Yep. I pulled up in a newer Audi S4, and asked for a test drive. They straight up told me no. I’m 33 years old, not some 16 year old joy rider.
Ding ding ding. A $50K car may not be much in the grand scheme of luxury sport sedans, but treating a serious adult buyer (coming in on a scheduled appointment, no less) like a 16 year old who showed up with two of their friends the day after they got their license to go on a joyride?
Personally I never seriously considered this car because it required dealing with the shitty Kia dealers in the area.
There’s more than a car’s width of track on the inside there when they touch, so that’s not really an issue. Hamilton understeered a bit, tagged Verstappen, and the result was catastrophic for the latter’s race.
Let’s be fair here, Leclerc ran off the road of his own volition.
1. Agree with everything, except the appropriateness of the penalty, because ultimately there wasn’t much of one. Lewis got a free pit stop to change his broken rim and a 10-second time delay when he had no rival left was a joke. A stop-go would have been more appropriate under the circumstances. Penalties are already…
I’m a bit late to the party but here you go
Racing incident that led to a terrible crash.
Hamilton’s left front and a Red Bull’s right rear.
Hamilton had more than a car’s width. Lewis overcooked it into the corner (never even touched the inside curb and straddled the curb on exit) and the contact with Max was inevitable.
Yeah at the apex of the corner. When Hamilton let off because he wasn’t in the lead.
Oh, so, if we point out Lewis mistakes, we are bashing him. Go get more Brit Kool-aid
I’d need to read the rulebook to say either way, but from simply watching for years I don’t believe this is the case. Ahead by a nose or a car length, if you’re in front, it’s your corner. But I’m willing to be proven wrong.
But you are. Nobody here was talking at all about specifically racist comments until you introduced the concept.
It’s your term, not mine, friend. I fail to see the difference between all of us and you. By that logic, if we are “internet pundits” to whom you’ve referred with such disdain, so are you.
