Yeah, this episode in particular, Coach fit into the ensemble perfectly. I'm on Team Coach.

This episode was almost perfect. When Holt made them stop fighting by telling them about how his wife was killed by a man in a yellow hoodie… I lost it.

Yeah, he's kind of a loser but it doesn't seem like anyone is every bullying him. He always seems in on the joke that they're making (at his expense).

I'm guessing this is a problem with the PR people, not the AV Club.

I've laughed at other episodes more, but this one was the best of the season so far. The final reveal killed me.

Nice pull.

There was an episode where they escaped by basejumping off a skyscraper in NYC.

I assume when he moved the fork under the food it made it impossible. No other reason to show him doing that.

What? What's wrong with you?

I agree. I can see how others would see him as offputting, but the show does a pretty good job of making him the butt of the jokes even when he thinks he's being clever.

Yeah, it will just be Modern Family and Jim Parsons again next year.

That was another time when I lost it in the episode. So, so good.

I think they set up that he wrote favorably about his drinking buddies up enough to make it alright.

Its a workplace comedy. The only times we've seen things from them off the job or with each other (in the bar) are through flashbacks. It's just a workplace show like Taxi… with the quick little flashbacks of modern comedy.

Oh god, I lost it there. So obvious, but I didn't think they'd go there. And they did. And it was perfect.

I want Stacy Keach and Rip Torn to star in a buddy comedy together.

I'm scared to comment. But I disagree, I think once they get Wayans integrated, he'll be great. He fit right in on Happy Endings and this show has a lot of the same DNA as that show.

He tipped her FOUR dollars.

And then having the NERVE to have a scavenger hunt via Twitter to give the rest of them away. That ASSHOLE.

I loved Scott's face after that.
