Once again, not asking any men to know anything about makeup. Only asking them to shut the fuck up regarding that which they do not understand, i.e. makeup. Can I say that more slowly for you?

I like Steph Curry. (I am a born and bred East Bay’er and have, since birth, rooted for any teams playing in Oakland - Raiders, A’s, and Warriors. It hasn’t always been easy. There have been a lot of sad, sad, days. But I have weathered through.) Back to Steph, he’s a cutie, and his talent and humbleness does make him

Here’s what I love about Curry - you don’t have to apologize for liking/loving this guy. He’s not one of those athletes where you say “Yeah, he’s a jerk, but he’s such a great player...blah blah blah.” There’s no need to make an excuse for Curry, he’s a great player in addition to being a great guy.

I’m pretty sure he’s 6'3, 185. That’s pretty big all things considering.

I adore him, and respect him, but I do not lust after him. Probably because I think his wife is awesome, and his children so freakin cute! Lust just doesn’t fit into that equation for me.

I’ve been enjoying how much the Bay Area enjoys watching the Warriors. The streets become a ghost town. The grocery store was empty at 6:30 on a Sunday evening!

I never get the hard core Kim hate. She’s talking about her app, which most people don’t know how to do, either. I’m sure she knows how to use Twitter and Instagram. In fact, we’ve watched her do them.

Well, for starters she was referring to her actual app in the interview, not snap chat or twitter. It’s so convenient to pick and choose quotes to fit a narrative.

About two decades ago I was in a restaurant in Santa Monica and in walked Richard Simmons. He table hopped and talked to everyone (me included, he told me how handsome I was!) and finally he sat down. People in LA are a little jaded around celebrities, they do actually have to leave the house so you see them around

Women who drink are asking for it. Men who drink can’t help themselves.

Oh yeah, the dad is definitely a rapist. 100%.

I remember watching his exercise show when I’d stay at my great-grandmother’s house during summers. Even as a kid, I knew his brand of optimisim and kindness was rare, and I loved it. Years later, watching him on David Letterman, I’d get sad—Letterman, and I’m a fan, was always a bit more sinister than he needed to be

I had the joy of meeting Mr. Simmons in 2012. He was doing something at the offices I worked at and he stopped at each person’s desk and asked for a hug. He was intermittently laughing and crying. I don’t think anyone got any work done after he visited because we were all riding high off of it.

The thing is, they didn’t even HAVE to listen to women. There were two men that saved her, chased him off, and acted as eyewitnesses to his crime, but his welfare is still prioritized before hers. And arguably, before the welfare of his next potential victim.

Now playing

This is a TED talk from a woman who explains why she married her abuser.

It’s practically impossible anyway. Sometimes I’ll see a picture of Calvin with a gossip item, and the instant I’ve looked away from it, again I have no idea what he looks like.

It’s either that, or moves to Big Sur or Joshua Tree for a while, discovers her inner Stevie Nicks, and comes back to Los Angeles and makes her California Record™.

I know that this is a v. serious matter but honestly my first thought at those pictures were “she’s doing a weekend at bernie’s thing with him!” and then I couldn’t unsee it

Taylor’s gonna move back to Nashville now, start wearing old-timey dresses, and make a record direct to 16-track analog tape with either Dan Auerbach or Jack White producing. JUST YOU WATCH.
