She also says “if this doesn’t work,” meaning she’s sort of hoping/expecting it will, or is at least interested in meeting the lovely young men who respond to her father’s ad.

How about Grammar Girl? http://www.quickanddirtytips.com/education/gram…
Ahem. Make that *an hero
Plus, you’d never say “an horror.” It all depends on whether you vocalize the “h” or if it’s silent, and horrific definitely doesn’t start with a vowel sound.
I also don’t say “orrific” so
And it goes to show that he/the LAPD knew that OJ was responsible for the murder.
I don’t think it’s necessarily your generation that helps you see it that way (for what it is). They’re normalizing this stuff just by talking about it and being willing to try it, even if they feel silly at first and do things for laughs. If they were sticking to whatever things this author deems acceptable for them…
No, I don’t really think that there should be definite right/wrong answers, and I didn’t ever suggest that I did. Did you...even read my comment? You sound like a terrible interviewer that asks lazy questions and then makes up his own answers from things the interviewee never said. And yeah, good interview questions…
Maybe don’t ask BS questions if you don’t want BS answers.
My high school US History teacher assigned that book to us (like 10+ years ago), so it’s happening. In a liberal area, mind you, but it’s out there.
why do people keep repeating this, it’s not clever
And you were alone!! I’m seriously impressed.
All that talk about courage and bravery, but you’re the real winner of that badge here. To go to a conspiracy theory event at all would earn you a little one, but a CRUISE? Not only are you trapped for a week with these nutters but you’re out to sea where pretty much anything can happen. Conspiracy theorists would…
I guess it’s being white with darker coloring? I’ve also been told I’m not white, I’m “off white.” I don’t know how to feel about that one.
Also, I like to make people guess too and apparently I’m also ambiguous looking.
Well it’s totally up to you, I was just pointing out that French isn’t such a weird suggestion! Personally I’d stick with your other description because it’s more specific/interesting and I like it. I feel like “white and Hispanic” is what people say when they’re not sure of those specific heritages.
It’s weird that you question the way someone guesses that you’re French when the three descriptors you choose for yourself fall into the exact same category.
This video player is the actual worst. I can’t even watch without it buffering every few seconds. Just use YouTube?
This is flat out not true. It’s only true if at least one half of the couple is a selfish prick/liar. Cheating isn’t an accident, so it’s not really a “mistake,” it’s an active betrayal. And getting drunk to have an excuse for cheating doesn’t make it any more of an accident.
Ok now I’m jealous. I turn into a prune almost immediately.
