Because he’s a Senator from New Jersey? Isn’t the state basically made up of Pharmaceutical companies?
True, but they’re a bespoke brand and the cost is just going to be passed on to the client. These are vanity pieces anyway. The FJ will only become more popular as each hedge fund guy will get to say that the hood had to be custom fabricated at a cost of $400k.
I get that. But this doesn’t sound like a problem that’s going to go away.
You think so? I bet you could get it done for less than that. This is from a less complicated manufacturing era, when companies routinely used hammers to shape metal.
I work in engineering and one of our major clients is in aerospace manufacturing. I’m in their factory 2-3 times a week. I see new tooling made on a regular basis, so i guess my bias is that it’s no big deal.
Maybe i’m missing something:
Not sure that’s actually true. There were very serious allegations of fraud and breach of fiduciary duty.
It’s pretty crazy that Buzzfeed (of all places) is out there on the edge of journalism pushing the boundary of what the 1st Amendment is or should be, while the MSM (as the alt-right calls it) is falling over themselves for access.
I totally agree, but I think designers probably pushed too far in response. But like I said, when compared to what Nissan and Honda are doing, it doesn’t seem too far out of line. Also reminds me of the Xbox logo.
For the love of Pete, guys. You flung poo at this car for years calling it beige and railing that everything wrong with the car industry was because of beige. So here we are- much more aggressive styling for the Camry, as well as all the midsize family sedans (Altima, Accord, Elantra, etc.) And now you guys are like,…
This is great an all, but I feel like we spent all the money already. Don’t we owe like $20T? And that’s with the Baby Boomer asset bubble. I can’t imagine that we have the political and financial will to do this.
So the take away here is that it costs more to maintain a B5 Passat 4Mo?
When is that guy going to learn to change tires?
More like Nürburgring defense i think
It’s going to be pretty awkward when all other countries demand that US manufacturers open up dedicated manufacturing facilities in each respective country so as to avoid bigly border tariffs.
Good. We were mansplained that Trump supporters took him seriously, but not literally. That they understood that “building a wall” meant a more sensible immigration policy, not an actual wall.
$350/mo gas & electrical, $1,200 food, $1,500 mortgage including property tax and insurance on a 1,400 sf house in CT.
The one things unions have right now is incredible bargaining power for health insurance. My brother in law is a teamster and gets his family benefits through the union for a fraction of the $900 a month that I pay. I would imagine that once the Affordable care act is gutted, the health insurance aspect alone will…
Meh. Super Morrissey Brothers still the best.
