I really hate the 1.5 - 2+ year out announcement trend that a lot of companies do

I see you’ve discovered that you can make anything sound boring and stupid if you strip it down to just it’s most basic parts, and describe it in the least interesting way possible.

puts on call of duty. shoots. gets shot. gets bored and turn off the game.

I mean, quite apart from that, Discord is not a forum. Just flat out. It’s not just community stuff that suffers here, or bug finding, but it basically kills feedback dead. This is a terrible decision, and I say that as someone who currently has Discord open (admittedly for trying to snag a 3080, but still).
