That's weird. I drove a friend's Evo X and it had a stick shifter. It only got 5 speeds but it's still a proper manual. Quite smooth too.

@Franzouse: I consider that more of a challenge. When I actually get a car to drift in the game, I get more satisfaction than when I drift in those Need For Speed games that claimed to have 'highly accurate drifting physics' which are just crap.
