i gave up on Lords of Shadow maybe 20-30 minutes into it after experiencing how generic and boring it felt.  got it for $5 on steam.

i remember playing a match of Black Ops 2 or 3 during a free multiplayer weekend on Steam after having left the COD franchise during Black Ops 1. it felt like nothing had changed in the worse way.  i quickly grew bored during the only match i played and haven’t played a COD game since.
