Yeah, when your spouse suddenly demands to control what clothes you wear and what pictures you can take, you could at least be mature about it when you respond.

But she DID affirm where he’s coming from— she literally says in the clip that she recognizes that he’s on his own journey (that is validating where he is and what he feels), but that she isn’t required to be in that same place, on that same journey (which is correct).

Sometimes its feels like our people will engage in anything as long as it seems entertaining.

Yes. How else are they supposed to get another job in a neighboring city or county and pretend like nothing ever happened?

If you believe most cops are good people yet say that they won’t hold their own accountable... then they are not good people. Giving cover to corruption, murder, and more is the opposite of good.

Kim has a strong point. Her mom started the ball rolling, but Kanye has been all about that ‘Look what you can’t have’ mindset. Of course, Kayne, Kim, the entire clan minus the kids right now are all relentless and ruthless attention whores who feed on any attention, because it makes them more money then most of their

Man what an asshole!

Seen families torn apart because of members that are in law enforcement are forced by circumstance to chose a side. Uncle was a cop in Newark, NJ for 24 years & I can honestly say I never looked at him as anything other than my uncle & one of the good ones until I was a teenager. I had begun to wit ness & hear too

I don’t know why you’d guess that with no evidence of that.

Ive known of welfare checks. They usually stroll in with two cops not one. And they may even call in 4 or 5 other cop cars especially when they know its a black neighborhood.

one of your psychotic slave catchers did what he was trained to do!

It’s far worse than the cops being uninvited. They were supposed to be there for the explicit purpose of making sure she was okay. Her neighbor called the police and asked for a welfare check to make sure she was safe. This is how cops repay good intentions.

Apparently, in the Dallas Fort Worth area “minding your business inside your own home while black” is a capital offense that the police are all too excited to enforce.

This is so heartbreaking and violently infuriating.

“The officer, who has been with the Fort Worth police since April 2018, was responding to a call about a residence with an open door.”

Before this the narrative was that the NBA was a league full of personalities who would speak their mind and didn’t care what people thought. Kerr and Pop could speak out on gun control and racism, people could call Trump a “bum” and wear a “Beto” hat, etc. Heck, they moved All-Star weekend out of North Carolina

It kinda does invalidate him for me. If you’re going to posit yourself as a progressive, thoughtful champion of justice, why would you draw the line here?  It's so blatantly obvious, $$$.  And that's what's galling, regardless if your age or cynicism.

This is something I find myself struggling with a lot. There’s a part of me that says, well, if China’s money can buy Kerr’s speech, than anyone else’s could, too, so that means anything else he has to say is basically moot. That’s an idealistic part, maybe the sixteen year-old part of me, that still believes that

I quite literally write, in the opening paragraph: “She is neither married to Phillippe or responsible for him.” She is in both the cover image and in the bulk of the article, however, because her inclusion in the lawsuit, and Hewitt’s belief she has evidence to prove guilt, defined significant portions of the legal

A more cogent argument I have never read. But I would love to read a counter argument from a police officer that FIRST does not reference lofty ideals about bravery, heroics, brotherhood, etc. but really tries to explain why mere coworkers, some even Black, 1) feel so free to take a life and 2) why others reflexively
