“I don’t think he did anything wrong, in fact it sounds like this is all her fault”  Dave Chappelle

You nailed it. There used to be a billboard 15mins from KC calling for armed revolution against the govt (when Obama was in office, of course).

Columbia in the middle isn’t bad since Mizzou is there. But other than that, yes, you are correct.

So the state of Missouri is just a city on either side and a wasteland in between them sparsely populated by either deep south racists or quiet midwestern racists?

I do definitely get the feeling that Kansas City residents think they’re going to be the next Nashville, but they won’t.

“Wow hey, these guys are EXCITING! Too bad half of them would punch my grandma in the face!”

Pictured, breakfast at the Rivers Estate:

I’ve watched the Lions for 30 years, probably. What resonates to me the most from your piece, Nate, is my memory of Mike Utley. And then after that, Reggie Brown and the halo he wore to his press conference. These, combined with Megatron and Barry walking away early with their bodies not completely wrecked, though

I’m no Pats fan (no one should be) but if a team as high profile as the Pats were to relocate, I’d be officially done caring about the NFL. I’m already at the point where I only care about 50% as much as I once did, but once they start playing whack-a-mole with city councils all over the US and fucking London, I’m

It happens to me now, too and I suspect it will continue to do so forever.

It basically reserves your place to buy season tickets for a specific seat in the house. It’s the dumbest grift in all of professional sports, I had an acquaintance who went to the Falcons’ wine and dine and walked out laughing when they told him his previously $5k season tickets were now $50k+that $5k. There’s a

It’s not for humans, it’s for corporate sponsors to use for client circle-jerking and whatnot. Still a ludicrous price.

I may be old and out of the loop, but what does buying a PSL get you if not “season tickets”? A license to buy a ticket at some future time? Why not just sell the tickets?

Welcome to the modern NFL grift. Let’s find out if people actually bother to pay the rate they’re asking; the Falcons’ PSLs started at about $50k and last I heard were down to about $8k. I expect the Chargers to end up similarly, and the Rams to end up closer to what the Chargers are asking. These teams have gotten a

Wait... $75,000 (or the other ludicrous numbers quoted) *DOESN’T* include the actual tickets?

What the actual fuck?

This happens to me NOW.

Philip Rivers’ kids?

Watched a youtube video recently about how the Charges once missed the playoffs while having the #1 offense and #1 defense in the league. It was incredibly depressing.

I hate to say that I also think that it stems from the fact that very few fans out there ever really played football at a higher level than flag. If you’re out there and going full-stop you completely get what these players are saying. I haven’t played in years, but as a man in his early 30s I’m still feeling the pain

Nate, your ability to take abstract concepts in an unfamiliar environment and make them tangible for a reader is impressive.  Only the worst imbeciles on the planet are going to think that your writing is overly dramatic here.  My experience with pain and mental anguish in football is right in line with you and I had
