@Phoshi: Actually, according to Gizmodo and Ars Technica, it is supposed to annoy you. I'm sure they had good intentions, though. o_O

@MattG91: Go to Edit=>Preferences.

@Dr. Vrein: Great observation. The best I can do is heart you.

@Casey: I agree. I started using Google back when I had slow internet speed. I don't like how Yahoo! has news, stocks, etc. If I want news, I'll go to a news site. If I want to search for something, I'll go to Google.

@Demonicume: I'm glad the Army Reserve provided you with the training that you needed. I was in the Navy and nothing I did there transferred to something in the civilian world. Now it's 4 years of school with the GI Bill. That's a small positive because my 4-year degree will've taken 7-8 years in the end; I should've

@brostbeef: Then, if you want to purchase something, simply transfer from your savings to your checking. It seems that people always give the same advice: pay yourself first. We know MS made Vista's UAC annoying on purpose [gizmodo.com] We also know that Win7 will cost

@Chris Memering: The problem I have is the way that companies battle piracy. In China, Hollywood sells its wares for about $2/movie to battle the piracy there (at least they did at the time of this video: [cnettv.cnet.com]).

@rennsport964: Ah. Even so, my CPU usage is less, as is the number of processes in the lower left. But since this is a clean install, I see the OP's point.

@Lagertop: You think Win7 has a lot of background processes running? One thing that impressed me about Win7 is the lack of background processes. Notice the lack of the 'System Idle Process'.

@kazemizuhi: Set up Yahoo! Pipes and then use Google Reader to read the RSS feeds. Everyone wins.

@wickedcupofjoe: If you've a yahoo account, you can use my.yahoo.com to read RSS feeds, emails, etc on the same page.

@92BuickLeSabre: I wondered what that weird pressure near my crotch was.
