Oh look, another random race based incident in an American business establishment.
Violent crime would drop drastically? For real? I guess that is news to the students in Florida. Better yet tell that to the nine black Americans gunned down in a church in South Carolina. I mean for real you need to sit your ass down and never get the fuck back up with that bullshit.
My question is-
I knew that was a sign.
noticed the big trucks were out there removing the sign. I knew that was a sign.

To further your point, it’s also a telling thing; to be proud to be white. It’s a pride in being on top of the food chain. It’s a pride in being the most politically represented “race,” a pride in the most benefit from a socioeconomic culture that only thinks of them first, full-stop.
The best part of these exchanges is when my eyebrows go up in the universal sign of “wait... what?” and they see and go “Uh, well, uh... you know, I mean I’m not racist or anything, but I uh...”

This still blows me away. If those people were brown we’d have seen a drone strike or an FBI raid within a matter of hours.
Exactly. There is also I imagine (I’m white so can’t speak with any real knowledge about it) an enhanced sense of shared pride when you were targeted for vitriol and hate precisely because of the fact that your skin is the color that it is. You are basically in this struggle together as a people. I’m like, what…
