But real charity doesn’t need to be filmed. It just happens.”

I live in California. These things are VERY popular here. So yeah, they don’t really lose much value. I swear there’s so many here that I have accidentally mistaken another one at the grocery store for ours.

I would be happy to take one of their cars and experience it as an owner, but there’s no way in the world I can justify spending hard-earned luxury car money on a Hyundai.

Call me a snob if you’d like but brands mean something. But a brand without a reputation and a consensus of its value and meaning are a tough sell.

First gear:

Not really any sympathy.

EV’s in the mid-size truck segment are going to fair very well. This isn’t a segment that is expected to do much towing and operating costs are a high consideration among buyers.

Maverick version please.

It feels like they keep lowering the price to see at what point some holdouts in their target demo would bite...but the joke on them is that you’d have to pay a lot of people in that group at this point to drive a Tesla, I know I’m in that group. I still don’t get why forecasts are so rosy and their market cap is

First of all, if your family “needs a bigger car,” there are far cheaper options out there than a $49K Ford Explorer.

After he realized his family needed a bigger vehicle, they did something unusual: they traded in both of their vehicles for a Ford Explorer.”

Interesting comments. I appreciate your thoughts and wanted to share some observations.

“Racially insensitive.” No, that is a hell of a lot more than insensitive, that’s the whole kit and caboodle of straight up fuck-you level racism.

I agree with your wife. It has a killer nose, but everything else needs to go to finishing school. Amateurish at best.

Well, to be fair, rear saddle bags are better than front.

But if you’re making shit money, maybe you shouldn’t be buying the average new car.

I own a ~$120K Lexus built at their Motomachi plant. I’ve also owned a Tesla Model 3 and Model Y.

My interior after 120,000 miles and over 4 years has been fine. The vegan leather hasn’t cracked, all the headliner is still in place, the steering wheel is still intact, and all the panel gaps are still in the same place when I first got it.

I think the 3/Y interior is probably more durable. It has more plastic in places that get dirty or wear, like door sills. The S/X has more fabrics and carpets.

I don’t have kids or pets, but the interior of my Model 3 has held up. About 4.5 years old and the only notable thing that’s been happening is a crease developing on the passenger seat leather where the thigh bolstering gets squished down. Also I have some dings on interior plastic like when I saw down and my walkie

I find this ironic that at this time residents of a solid red county are crying for more regulations from the government....
