Vegas is downright sleazy. Try to walk on the strip and you have to dodge these sleazy men handing out fliers promoting ‘fresh new girls’. Try to explain that one to your 9 year old girl. The ‘downtown Vegas’ section looks pretty good with the lit up artificial sky, but the whole walkway is populated with women

the goal is to attract people who will spend lots of $$$ via shows, gambling, clubs, drinking/eatting, or concerts and other live events

The Strip used to be a really fun place to walk around, back in the late 80s - early 90s before the mega-casino-resorts took over everything. it wasn’t as big or congested, and it was possible to cross a street without navigating a maze that’s designed to funnel you into the adjacent casino instead of where you want

Also one outside DC, for east coasters. And Udvar-Hazy is a very cool museum. Plus it has a tower where you can watch Dulles flight operations (depending on the runway in use).

Haven’t been to that one, but the Atlantis exhibit at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor’s Center in Cape Canaveral, FL, blows me away every time I go there.

Some analysts are cautioning that it’s still too early to tell whether rising prices are keeping buyers off of dealer lots.”

I think the 3 and Y are still a good proposition for the price, at least if you don’t mind the quirks and ignore Tesla’s attempts at letting your car murder you.

The Model S is a seriously nice car. I find the rest of the Tesla offerings bland and overpriced for what they are. The interiors of the 3 and Y are soooo bad. The X has those dumb ass doors and looks like a swollen tick that is due to pop.

1st Gear:
people at this point are probably fed up with overinflated car prices. The souring economy isn’t helping either.

2nd Gear:
At this point I’d say its going to only get worse for Tesla. Musk has a lot to do with the blame. In stretching himself thin the lineup and its technology is getting stale. The Model S has

It's a new product you have to expect some bugs

Bring in the roaches to eat the bedbugs, then bring in the lizards to eat the roaches. Badgers to eat the lizards, lions to eat the badgers, elephants to chase away the lions, and mice to chase the elephants.

An iPad bolted to the dash is “complexity?”

They’re moving the steering wheel to the display. Along with window switches. And airbags.

Well, I like it from the B-pillar forward. I get the low drag coefficient, but it kinda looks like a dog dropping a deuce.

Bloomberg says lithium is used to increase the strength of ceramics and to “produce more vivid colors in glazes.”

Are these things just full of rich people now? Or are regular folks just spending their mortgage payment on tickets to a race (or concert, or baseball/football game)?

Keep your car.

I really hoped Toyota would’ve added some sense of opulence to the interior for that price point but eh... merica

I don’t want to derail the story, but like, fucking keys man man. What was wrong with a key?

Really don’t want to buy a Tesla but yeah, news like this makes it hard to look elsewhere...
