“The Auto Industry Is Cautiously Optimistic”
Sliding doors are the best doors. This might not be the first time someone’s had the idea to put them something boxier than a minivan, but I don’t care. This is what the world needs more of.
Wait, I can finance a new M8 at 0.9% APR?
Someone earlier today was (jokingly) complaining in the comments to Morning Shift that there wasn’t enough outrage today for their liking, and the day was too happy.
My kid is still working on his Fusion Drive, give it a little time
Depends on the person?
It still seems like a lot even at higher incomes. I’ve got higher than usual rent because fucking major coastal cities, but make over $200k/yr. I own my current car outright, and I can’t see a scenario when I’d willingly take on an additional $500/mo payment just for . . . some goddamn touch screens? A car that beeps…
The Sienna hasn’t been an interesting minivan in quite some time, and has been in desperate need of an update for a while.
It’s only a matter of time before they start letting that guy with the 1982 Oldsmobile drive for them... I was actually in an early 2000's focus with manual rear windows last year. I have to wonder what kind of nickel and diming you have to do as an auto manufacturer to only install power windows in the front.
Does anyone know what the relationship is between Uber/Lyft and car purchase?
prolly even worst since they have all lost their jobs and are cramming up the unemployment lines. yeah most auto loan places are delaying the loan but don't see them going out to buy a new car for atlest another year or two
hey look we updated the head-unit to only be 5yrs behind technology.
You make Einstein look stupid.
Corollas are great, cheap and reliable. Granted I value not living with the parents over a truck that I don’t need.
None of this surprises me. My brother and sister-in-law are typical, uneducated, working poor. They have two full-size Chevy trucks that they bought used, on 6yr loans (and overpaid for at a dealership). And because they have shitty credit (of course), even with my Mother co-signing they are paying like 12% interest.
0% for 6 years for us. I would have been crazy NOT to take it. If anybody wants to loan me that much money with no interest for 72 months then I’ll be 100% all over that 😀
You know what’s more astonishing than an 80% dive?
... but this is absolutely not how the world needs to go about reducing carbon and air pollution.
Coming soon:
This! 90% of the assholes who have been a half a car length behind me on the highway in sketchy weather have been in either a Dodge Ram, or RAM this winter. Although, having Hellcat power at their disposal might filter out some of the piss in the gene pool.
