100% agree, but talking with an engineering buddy of mine, we both agree that both the network and charging tech will need to improve in order to achieve optimal results for the public. No matter how many stations you have, if each car needs 30 mins or more not factoring waits and charger outages, the inconvenience

As much as I like the idea of an EV and mostly enjoyed driving my Mach E the last 13 months, I can’t wait for the lease to be over so I can switch back. The occasional need to charge on the go has been frustrating. From charging sites being full, to chargers being offline/broken, to seeing fights break out as to who

Had a 2019 Touring, loved the car and was sold the pipe dream that is an EV. Will be going back to one as soon as the lease is up, unless something miracle happens in the EV marketplace along with charging speed and infrastructure.

Would be interesting to see the non-trailsport version.  When the Mach E’s lease is up, will be going back to a Passport.

Human of the year.

In a similar situation like you. Traded in a Passport a year ago for a Mach E extended range. Was able to roll over half of the 15K equity as down payment. 98% of my charging takes place at work, $1 an hour, $4 max. Exactly one yr on 9/9, 13.5K on the odo. My only beef is my insurance shot up, paying about $1K more a

Currently leasing a Mach E, they couldn’t pay me enough to outright buy.

Hate the state, but this is pretty cool. The spirit of Jimmy lives on...

I would chip in having the van towed to the dealer and have it block it main entrance.  Maybe bring a few of cousin Vinny’s friends that likes to play with bats next to car windows.

The horrible range and the price will make it DOA.

Anyone who drive the $80K truck(Tundra Platinum, Sierra Denali, Silverado High Country, etc) that you know the bed never gets used or go off pavement. Bonus if it is lifted with offroad wheels/setup. You want to drive around in a truck, go ahead. But these are just obnoxious and begs the question - compensating much?

It is a great car minus a handful of minor annoyances.  If I were you, I would ask the dealer to secure a plug for you before you sign.  The news of access happened a week before I got my car so it is understandable they didn’t have any, but for you, even if it means they need to buy you an aftermarket one, it should

Mach E leasee here. I already have the software upgrade. Just waiting for the stupid plug.  At the rate that it is going, I will get it shortly before I return the lease.

If you can live without Apple Carplay, that is a heck of a deal!

1st: Why would I buy something that will guarantee less performance over time, take a massive depreciation due to various rebates/incentives, and the technology will likely improve over time? Signed my lease last Sept and in 2026, I will toss the fobs back to the dealer and let them deal with a car that by my

Didn’t know that.  Talk about picking the wrong horse, or idiot, for the race.

and part of the working class!

She is pro-life, just some over others.

OMG, I see it!

So on their list of possible VPs, this is the best they went with? Who were the others, Beavis, Butthead, and Spongebob?
