That’s not true at all. Campaign donations by foreign entities are unequivocally illegal, and Citizens United didn’t change that. What did happen is that it’s easier to hide such money behind certain types of PACs, but that’s not what’s going on here.

When True Blood premiered, I already had the theme song in my collection. It seemed odd to hear a somewhat obscure song I already had a copy of used on a TV show.

The first-season theme for Simon and Simon was far better than the later one mentioned here, IMO. A Mexican-sounding piece about brothers and friends, great for a show set in San Diego.

I’m glad you tried to become involved. I spent some time in Pennsylvania and found the party there is more machine-based and hard to get into than in other places.
