So no one here's ever seen Early Edition?

I remember it. They were going for a style very similar to the Lucy Show, and it didn't quite work.

Maybe you could say that anyone who has a Q rating is a celebrity.

Yes, they come in threes if you stop counting at three and go back to one afterwards. If you stop counting at four, they come in fours.

If that means we get Pence, it would likely be even worse.

I'm pretty sure it's going to be targeted to a new generation (i.e., not mine.) There probably won't be references to '70s laundry detergent commercials.

When this show started, I already disliked Barker from Truth or Consequences - I'm not sure why, he always seemed too smug or something - so I never warmed to him on this show either. It didn't bother me at all when he left.

"yearning for only the peaceful oblivion of death this yuletide"

Marcus Welby had high enough stakes. People thought they had terrible illnesses, and Welby just told them they should switch to decaf.

I was mostly kidding - I don't think too many people are worked up about The Weber Show, although the story of the network tinkering is probably interesting.

And when Apple is assessed $400 million in patent violations, you’ll have a point.

After it was canceled, I found myself wishing for a spinoff with Weber, Amanda Peet and Ed Asner about the workings of the network.

You mean you talked about all that stuff, but not The Weber Show?

Thirtysomething.

Plus, they could then have avoided having an advisory committee without Miss Patty.

I'm gay and have lived through it all. The gayest song ever is Sister Sledge's "We Are Family".

Spoilers…

Rory can do no wrong, which is a typical characteristic of a Mary Sue and typically the way a writer treats their surrogate character. Plus, Rory has a Korean-American best friend, just like ASP.

The show is about old money in the Northeast. Blame the world.

It's not the wookie. That was too many months earlier.
