He gave it a positive review(3 and a half stars) but said it made him feel bad afterwards. Cameron basically made a war movie but in space and it was an allgory to Vietnam and Ebert didn't seem to realize it. if Ebert had seen an actual Vietnam War movie that was just as intense he would have given it four stars.

To me the first Avengers movie actually had more weaker elements but the stronger ones that are left are not just great, they're instant classics. As much as I love Vision picking up the hammer(which gets a good reaction in the theater(it doesn't equal the Hulk throwing Loki around like a ragdoll.

What about the late Roger Ebert? Most agree DIE HARD is a great movie, a classic of the genre but he gave it only two and a half stars out of four and reading the review it's solely because he couldn't get past the fact the deputy police chief was such an incompetent asshole. That script decision ruined the movie for

That's just it, to Knowles it wasn't "a slightly unimportant plot point" it was fundamental to what he believed Batman should be. Just like Atticus Finch NOT being a racist was to fans of TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD and their reaction to the recently published sequel.

Also Warrior Woman in THE ROAD WARRIOR.

I think the little things can be indicative to something larger that a
viewer might not like like Jar Jar and midicholorians and Anakin are new ideas and concepts that a lot
of Star Wars fans just can't accept. "Vader was a whiny punk? Fuck that!"

It's never the little things, It's the larger issues and it effects how you see the whole thing. Like Harry Knowles hated THE DARK KNIGHT RISES simply because he couldn't get past the premise of Bruce Wayne giving up being Batman for 8 years. He didn't believe Batman would ever do that. All the good things about the

Just the other day I found out the Ewok who survived and was mourning over it's dead friend was played by this actress from TOTAL RECALL:

They also speak English in a deleted scene to other Sovakians.

I never hated the Ewoks nor understood the criticism that they suck primarily because they're cute because cute things exist in real life.

That's what I believe she meant too. I think so many people who were against the Natasha/Bruce ship were already repulsed at a possible romantic scene with Bruce shirtless and Natasha in a robe that they weren't paying attention to the dialogue and what was actually being said.

I never thought they mastered it overnight. I think they were already skilled in those things. Also both the catapults had no effect on the scout walkers and the gliders were shot down.

I'm not a Natasha/Bruce shipper but I still don't understand how her being attracted to Bruce Banner "ruins" her character as so many people on Tumblr believe.

I always thought Keith Gordon looked like young Steven Spielberg in this movie.

I love that first act with the floating camera around the museum. Angie Dickinson's character is more sympathetic than Janet Leigh's in PSYCHO.

It was filmed but deleted. It's on YouTube:

I remember Grand. It was a great show, so of course NBC fucked it up in the second season.
