absolutely!! that’s WHY you’d want an SSD. it’ll boot in about 10 seconds and apps fly open, I have one in my core 2 duo mid 2010 with 8GB ram and it’s like a new machine. Granted small video memory but it’s the cheapest way to squeeze out a few more years of performance on an older intel mac. Definitely get one.....I…
