Woohoo! NOW that it's released the dev-tem can work on the jailbreak exploits Apple hasn't patched up :-)

Bingo! I'm very active on XDA....the best around if you're an Android peep :-) "Faslane"

Already agree..."Maybe not all of them" yes, some simply don't need an update but there's also a TON of crap in these app stores.

I think the Play store and any app store for that matter should pull apps that aren't updated within a year or so.Maybe not all of them because some do a specific task and nothing more but if an app is made for say 4.1.2 and above and hasn't been updated to work with the (now a year old at least) new Android OS

agreed...I BOUGHT the damn thing before I realized this and it's horrible. Doesn't do a thing to help battery life for me whatsoever. I don't even use it and paid for the premium version.

I agree. the best way that's simple is to turn on the status bar and watch the url that pops up in the bottom of the browser window.....this will tell you where it's taking you if clicked.....like ad.googleservices or some other one (Google ads aren't usually malicious, just an example) but if everyone turned on their

Yeah I ditched it long ago for that reason and a couple others, it felt like development stopped on it moving forward as better apps came out.

+1! I didn't realize. :-)

Yeah That's another awesome one but location stuff only if memory serves. That's why I like Tasker and similar it'll handle/perform multiple settings/tasks in one app.

I haven't used Llama just because it was for location profiles only whereas condi, Taker and IFTTT do far more AND locations. +1

LMAO! +1

If you're married or in a relationship, you ALWAYS apologize, if only to stop the argument LOL!

Yep, same here. They are a little different and of course, Tasker is far more powerful but for someone just setting up some basic location stuff or automating wifi, camera uploads etc Condi is GREAT! IFTTT the next harder and then Tasker is a pretty dedicated learning curve but not super hard, just time consuming to

I'd recommend "Condi" it's like a lite version of Tasker which is still pretty powerful but simplified for most day-to-day tasking but has a much more automated setup similar to IFTTT.

Great tips! I wish we could also change the "dark mode" color to something(or anything) we wanted, like just a color picker and choose light blue, purple, red etc....whatever we want. I like the dark mode in some apps but find me using the lighter option. Wish we could choose a specific color and transparent

Try zapping the P-Ram first, you'll be amazed at what that helps with. Mine was REALLY slow to boot on a brand new install on an SSD (aftermarket install) I zapped the pram and voila! Command/Option/P/R keys (hold them down at bootup until your machine reboots again and then release them, you can even hold them down

Pretty rare you have to....if it's been ages and you're coming from an old OS like Snow Leopard or LionI would but Mountain Lion, Mavericks will especially update nicely.

Absolutely!! ANY animal one would have as a pet (and one's you wouldn't normally) require even more care like you say, because they're exotic, have specials diets, temperature and habit requirements etc. etc. +1 !!!

Awesome post, I wish people would understand what a commitment a pet of any kind is. All too often parents give in to their crying kids over a pet and the pet gets neglected on a chain in the back yard. Of course, not always but it happens a LOT.

saran wrap or anything "clingy" works better, the plastic bags kinda "float" a bit and are far messier than saran wrap.
