I'm more sorry for that poor child ;(

Easily one of her best. "Don't make me close one more door/I don't want to hurt anymore"

"I have nothing" by Whitney tends to make me cry for reasons I can't fully explain.

Oh my god. Why would you put something so beautiful into my head knowing that it could never happen!?

That coat tho

I'd like to think cultural appropriation is to music as truffle oil is to culinary arts. As Gordon Ramsay puts it: "It's the mark of an insecure chef."

They're back together, no?

Shallow thought of the day: I still harbor resentment towards Danny DeVito for breaking up with Rhea Pearlman.

I can't help it...they are pretty. But am I alone in thinking they look younger than BSB, NSYNC and the like? Or am I just old?

Yeah. I agree. Maybe this just isn't going to translate to the screen no matter what.

WELL THANKS FOR MAKING ME CRY

I accept these terms. Because we'll know. We'll. Know.

It could just be that the score is making me emotional...

This movie will probably be a disaster, but dare I say that this featurette made me a little excited?

I just stole that so I can sound brilliant and witty and off the cuff the next time Into the Woods comes up in conversation. I'll pretend I came up with it and won't give you any credit. I'm not sorry.

Ok so my favorite part of Into the Woods in general is the concept of "it's the witch from next door!" Like... who is living next to a witch? MOVE.

I wish this was directed by Baz Lurman

Now playing

Actually so excited to hear Anna Kendrick tackle this:

Is anyone really anticipating this? Especially theater purists. As far as anyone who loves Meryl Streep...do they exist?

I feel like the camera man has a gun pointed to Stephen Sondheim's cat or something off camera and is like, "You will stop bad-mouthing this movie, Stephen. Reassure the theater nerds, Stephen. Reassure them now."
