I’d hate to be this guy’s next hitch hiker. 

Saying he is a bad businessman because he “lost” over a billion dollars instead of saying that he bilked the IRS for most of it to avoid estate taxes before his father dying (facts that the NYT reported on extensively) is the dumb spin. He didn’t lose most of it, he cheated the tax system.

There was already a highly researched piece about how he (learning from his father) over inflated the value of his properties and the repairs themselves (using shoddy materials but taking credits for more expensive ones) in order to keep his father’s money growing and flowing within the family.
