While its true the Oscars are kind of broken, especially in the animated category where people who havent even seen any of the nominees can still vote, I dont think Your Name got snubbed because of a Pixar or a Disney bias (Pixar didnt even make the cut this year).

This is called a code of conduct, and good sportsmanship.

There is such a thing as the social contract. While you have the right to an opinion, negative ones that don’t affect your well being personally (or someone elses) should be kept to yourself or in limited conversation for the benefit of harmony within a community.

Slow news days up until the Nintendo reveal? lol

Counter argument: WAH!

Give it like, an hour.

If it’s true, that sucks because despite not looking that good to me (nothing really grabbed me, except the aesthetic) it’s a Platinum game directed by Hideki Kamiya. The guy knows a thing or two about making great games. I had faith it could work out in the end =/

Some people like small art house movies like manchester by the sea, others only prefer big budget superhero movies. how can this be? its all movies. other like opera, some like rihanna. how can this be? its all music. some pople like warhol, others van gogh. how can this be, its all art?

Hey Mei haters! Have you ever actually tried playing Mei? She’s not near as powerful as you’re giving her credit for. No, the real reason you hate Mei is because that helpless feeling that comes from the ol’ “freeze-n-icicle” makes you uncomfortable.

It’s a book about game development, telling a bunch of behind-the-scenes stories on how various games were made. More to come in the next few months!

lolno

Every crowd? No....and no games even attempt to... but if you want to keep all those blades in the 5 different data centers you have to either rent or build, running, you damn well are going to widen the appeal with accessibility.

Terrible. Just terrible all around. The ultimatum was terrible. The punchline was terrible. Kjellberg is terrible.

Its closest relation would be Valkyrie Profile. Each character is controlled by one of the face buttons. They’ll often times have multiple attacks each so you press their corresponding button timed with the other members so as to create hit chains and combos. There’s more, obviously, but that’s the simple answer.

Sure, and in an ideal world, readers would wait a couple of weeks for the higher quality reviews and not go off in search of someone else who’s willing to accept review copies. But in this world, readers generally don’t do that.

I appreciate Kotaku’s attention to great reviews over timely reviews. Maybe my ambivalence towards a timely review is because I don’t really preorder anymore (thank you for that as well), but regardless, I know I can always trust Kotaku.

Welp, I’ll do my part. Never thought I’d be subscribing to PewDiePie, but it’s for a good cause.

You hit the nail on the head, I couldn’t have said it better myself. It’s not just the staggering amount of content. It’s the fact that even the side quests have a compelling narrative that makes you want to know what happens; they’ve got soul.

lmao I thought the same thing after reading the title. I expected it to be authored by Cicilia on one of her sjw click baits filled with the usual white knight comments about women in games. Luckily its not, good on you Kotaku way to be normal.
