With every new development this whole story just gets more bizarre. I feel like it’s a season of Broadchurch or one of those Scandinavian crime dramas my partner loves to watch. Except the only suspect is guilty af, and we may never know exactly why he murdered her.

Surely popularity is relative at the Purity Ball.

“Keleigh”: is it pronounced “Kelly” or “Kaylee” or “Keeley”?

Because anyone who knows tailoring doesn’t want to take credit for the appearance of such a bunch of idiots. Nobody’s lining up to be the next Hugo Boss, here.

If it was American we’d be allowed to go in the torch! Safety regulations are a liberal conspiracy!

As my mom would say, “Christ, what a putz.”

Now playing

Sounds like a standard sitcom mixed with Aaja Nachle, Madhuri’s comeback film. She played a woman who brought colour to her quiet hometown by putting on a show.

If they haven’t said it, they had to be thinking it.

I love the idea of Nolan thinking he’s ‘discovered’ a Brit nobody, and then someone explaining 1D to him...

There’s a TV channel here that only runs during the month of December, and all it shows are those American made-for-telly Christmas films, 24/7.

“We knew he was toxic towards women, but now he’s toxic towards OUR women!”

My 2-month-old baby had his first vaccinations today! In addition to all the other stuff, they’re doing a meningitis vaccine now as well. I’m so happy we live in a time when these shots are standard.

These are all amazing! There are so many good choices here. The Victor Hugo one I remember, but wouldn’t have thought to use it at a wedding. Which is silly, because it works so well.

I’ve never read Whitman before but this is really special. I love the imagery of going on a journey to a new place. Marriage is definitely about changing together.

They’re gorgeous sonnets, aren’t they. And so beautiful in the original, but I read Spanish much better than I speak it.

I love Liz Lemon!

Here in the U.K., if you’ve paid for a secular ceremony, you are not allowed to have any religious elements. Like, the wedding venue will be cross and my friend could get fined. She wanted to include traditions from her ethnic heritage but has to do them at the reception instead because they could be construed as

Wow, that’s beautiful. I don’t know if I could get away with using it during the ceremony but I’d really like to.

Do stuff to break up your day. The ward has a set routine, but all that non-mealtime can be great for writing stories or doing small crafty things. If you can get a friend to bring you a starter kit, you can learn something new, like cross-stitching or assembling model aeroplanes or amigurumi, and get a head start on

You’re not alone. I work a clinical role in a hospital, and honestly, seeing that would turn my stomach. Generally, all the gory stuff is OK because it’s part of a person who needs your help. Just an arm? Eesh.
