I think that qualifying was something Red Bull would be happy for, as it hampers Lewis and Bottas from running off into the distance.

Saw this on the WorldSBK.com site. Poor kid, poor family. This makes me sad.

Now THAT was an exciting qualifying!!!

Ah yes. Lewis Hamilton - another man, in a long, long string of men who are perplexed, fascinated, and completely unable to adequately operate ‘the magic button’.

What they don’t remember, or maybe don’t care, is that Darth Cheeto was in charge of the government when covid started. He was the gubmint trying to insure total control.  Biden in the Johnny Come Lately in that regard.

1. Azithromycin, or Z-Pak as its much more fun to say brand name, is typically used for respiratory infections. I know this because I’m in health care and I had an upper respiratory two Februraries in a row with the 2nd being during the 1st COVID outbreak. I was scared shitless because I’m up all night coughing

Um, they’re not going to... because you were right. Go on YouTube and search for Verstappen crash. His aggressive driving has done him well in the past, minus many of those crashes, but he hasn’t been penalized enough or had enough people explain to him why being overly aggressive in a race car can come with some bad

I was of the same opinion until I saw Max’s comment. It isn’t on Hamilton to leave enough room.

Not the first time we’ve seen no quarter given between WDC contenders - I like it. I genuinely laughed out loud when they took each other out (before realizing Hamilton might have been injured, that is).

Yes. My philosophy on racing is “I race you the way you race me”. You run me wide through a corner I will race you the same way. Max has always been super aggressive. I love it but at the same time Lewis isn’t going to give an inch when he is on the attack and the race is basically on the line. Max ran Lewis totally

I know that the first lap is different in terms of how accidents are tolerated, but at least Hamilton had the decency to abort and go over the curbs after being bumped to not crash into Verstappen in a similar situation on lap 1 at the other chicane.

I think something people overlook is that Max has a history of these incidents, something that may have guided the stewards’ actions today.

Both of their faults. They’re both racing for a championship and won’t give their rival any room. This will happen again this year.

These two are fighting for the Championship in what is a very close battle, where neither is going to give the other an inch - literally, thus the incident. If that’s the way they’re going to race for the rest of the season, then let them. Time for the “referees’ to swallow their whistles.

Ys, racing incident.

What we’ve all been waiting for.

I don't normally watch F1 but this race seems wild

ELIZABETH HELP I DON’T EVEN KNOW ANYMORE

This will hopefully be a more successful experiment next year with the aero changes to support overtaking.

Hamilton dropped down to 6th actually, Gasly was (before he went of) in front of him.
