Yeah, that’s what I thought: humans are still better than present-day AI when it comes to getting it 99.95% correct wrt to spelling, grammar, context, nuance, etc. YouTube’s auto-captioning is shockingly better than it was just a few years ago, but its mistakes remain too obvious to us humans.

I thought AI had taken over most transcription work? Perhaps still not as accurate as a human in some cases?

I absolutely expect to see social security in my lifetime, except in the form of UNIVERSAL BASIC INCOME, but only after the wealth and income gap gets so disgustingly wide that civil unrest forces the issue.

FWIW, The upgraded InstantPot simply adds a couple more pre-set buttons that you probably won’t use. Almost all of the recipes I’ve seen use MANUAL mode + TIME adjust settings, so save even more money by buying the older version if you can.
