I can count the number of times I've unknowingly bought counterfeit items on one hand, but most recently was a few months ago on Amazon. Samsung's "official" HDMI MHL 2.0 adapter fulfilled by Amazon was fake that didn't work, so I returned it, and left a 1-star review with the rest.

What are the security implications of this thing should somebody steal it? I assume there's no lockscreen needed to access the calendar, and I assume you need to be logged into your Google account for this to be useful, so... either it needs a lockscreen (lest somebody get your credentials and wreak havok on your

Wow you're a giant dick, just like most in the "gamer" kiddie group who've recently jumped on the mechanical bandwagon

I'm posting because the ergonomic keyboard allows me to post... without PAIN.

Mechanical keyboards are highly overrated (in an audiophilic kind of way). I'm not a fan of their high prices or their noise, and the fact that almost NONE of them come in split ergonomic form factors means I can't even consider one.

Started shaving after going to college, when my peach fuzz moustache started getting thicker and tackier.

Definitely THIS.

Just bought a cheap Nexus 10 on woot.com for a relative, so I'll have to check that out since I'm sure it ships with 4.3 with 4.4 waiting for OTA day-1. Not too happy that they got rid of the two-pane layout in settings either.

Wow. I had no idea you had to fiddle so much with the temperature of the tankless heaters. Maybe more hassle than it's worth.

What about newer tankless water heaters (still 120?)? Instead of having a giant water tank that needs to be insulated and kept hot (and can run out), you can install small, "instantaneous", energy efficient water heater for the whole house, or multiple heaters closer to where they're being used (so you don't have to

I use the QR-code method as well for my separate 2.4 and 5GHz networks, but I keep them as images on phone instead of printouts, since it's easier (and more secure) to share it that way.

Nice work there. I notice that you still had to work around Chrome's limitations, though, in that the tabs live in their own separate side window vs being integrated into the UI. The horizontal tabs are still present too.

Unfortunately this — and all other vertical tab extensions for Chrome — still can't match the vertical "Tree Style Tab" addon for Firefox due to limitations in the chrome api. It's the only addon feature I still miss after switching from Firefox to Chrome a few years ago. Vertical tabs are just a far better way to

Shark fin dumplings? Just say no.

My T-Mobile 4G coverage in NYC is fantastic, and only $30/mo for prepaid UNLIMITED.

VOTE: Hangouts (especially once Google Voice SMS & MMS are merged as well)

fwiw, there is a petition — http://www.change.org/petitions/t-mo… — to get T-Mobile to allow call forwarding on prepaid plans. Needs 85 more signatures, but will still probably fall on deaf ears.

Their calculator is notably missing T-Mobile's very popular $30/mo pre-paid plan: Unlimited data (first 5GB at 4G); unlimited texting; 100mins voice.
