I didn’t particularly care for the shrines at all.

Then I found out that you need a certain amount of hearts to pick up the Master Sword and I put down the game shortly afterwards because I just didn’t want to grind. It seemed strange to have to do so in a Zelda game.

Honestly, I love the game, but I really wish you could turn off or massively reduce the weapon breaking. I wind up carrying all these cool weapons that I’m terrified to actually use.

Yeah, there’s definitely a part of the map where it rains more or less constantly as part of the main quest.

One for mountain biking (used to have an extra one for road cycling), one for snowboarding, one for hockey, and one at work.  Various jobs required various helmets.

I am genuinely fascinated by the number of helmets your lifestyle requires, both professionally and recreationally.

Hmm, that is a lot of work for just one unique helmet of superior vision. Maybe he can toss his old helmet and a few gems into the Horadric Cube and see what happens.

You’re saying a wide receiver for the Oakland Raiders who is missing the literal soles on both of his feet should just give up his lucky helmet?!?

Jokes aside, as a lifelong Steeler fan who rarely misses a game, I firmly believe that this hit is the direct cause of AB going from ‘entertaining and fun’ to ‘insane lunatic’. He was never the same guy after this game/hit. Take it for what you will.

I walked out of the movie hating it but I was never a Star Was fan (still not) but the fans? Hoooooly crap they loved it. I listened to them gush about it after the movie while I was going “WTF that movie was overly long and mostly boring!”

It is one of the things the original trilogy got right.  The aliens spoke alien and we read the subtitles.  No big deal.  The caricatures in the prequels were ponderous at best, blatantly racist at worst.

Couldn’t agree more. As many flaws as Menace has, it’s Lawrence of goddamn Arabia compared to Clones. That might be the worst movie I’ve ever seen in a theater, and I’ve seen The Emoji Movie in the theater.

My favorite part of the Empire fight is that Luke is giving it his all and Vader is toying with him.

Aging Anakin up to be like 12 or 13 solves one of the biggest issues at the heart of TPM.

Popular opinion quickly became, and has remained, that people left the movie disappointed and angry at how terrible it was. But that wasn’t my experience at all. The credits rolled in the 700-seat theater I saw it in that night, and there was enthusiastic cheering. I was elated and ready to see it again. We had

When Luke brought up Darth Sidious in Last Jedi, I immediately thought “If he says the word midichlorians this place is going to riot.”

That is a great poster.  Basically, that poster, the lightsaber fight, and the pod race were best parts of this movie.

Can’t you just measure whether someone can dodge a wrench when you throw it at them?

As wholly awful as The Phantom Menace actually was, this teaser poster was one of the greatest I’ve ever seen. It sparked so many imaginations, and maybe that’s why when people saw the actual movie it was such a crushing disappointment.

Rewatched this with my son (who loved it) and realized how much of the film’s problems actually fall on Jake Lloyd just not being that good of an actor (which is totally not his fault and he never deserved the stupid attacks that 30 year old men threw at him). If Anakin had been portrayed as a teenager it may have

Sure it will. Go watch an regular season game. The QB will look at his first option and if that guy is open he will throw it. You only look off your first option if you are trying to throw it 30 yards in the air (since most passes come out in 1-2 seconds now you don’t have time to look off).
