Yes he did.
I’m not saying the guy should be fired. He hasn’t been bad by any means, and as Michigan found out with Rich Rod and Hoke, the level Harbaugh has reached isn’t guaranteed. I’m just saying when you’re the highest paid (or top 3, whatever) coach in the country, at one of the top 5 or 10 richest ADs/football programs in…
Didnt Harbaugh campaign with Obama for Hillary ?
Someone gave Jon Gruden $100 million. I know not everyone believes in him but he's gotta take the cake
As a Michigan fan
From what I can tell, 5 of those losses were against top-10 teams. One’s against a #12. Most of those games were close.
Because the resources are so uneven from school to school. Michigan has a ton of built in advantages over other schools based on the amount of money they have. It isn't like the NFL where it's an even playing field. The guy is the second highest paid coach in CFB and is 9-9 in his last 18 games. That's just not that…
If Braylon had been a little analytical and criticized the coaching, he would have been fine. But his tweets were pretty harsh of individual players. I mean, the is a former NFL player calling current college players weak, scared, and trash. It is just not a good look for Braylon.
Only in college football does a coach get shat on for a stretch where he’s only good to very good.
I doubt it. Does his salary actually come out of general fund? Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz’s salary is frequently criticized and wrongfully attributed as a waste of taxpayer money. In fact, the entirety of his salary is funded by football program revenue. Not a penny comes from tax payers.
Just a friendly reminder that the coach of a football team that made $45 million in profit for the school last year deserves to get paid more than a 16 year old working at a car wash.
Yeah FUCK HIM for making a salary. If someone offers me more money because I’m good at my job I just tell them to FUCK OFF!
Honest question, as I’m not from Alabama, but how and/or why is he being paid by Taxpayer money? Wouldn’t his salary be paid by Bama, and come from a combination of ticket sales, booster money and general University income?
I know that basketball and football coaches at state universities are often technically the highest paid public employees of whatever state, but it’s not like they’re siphoning tax dollars to pay them. If you wanted to though, I think you could come up with a reasonable argument that college sports at public schools…
As a UMD fan I completely agree. Burn it all down. If this is what the administration thinks is the kind of thing it needs to do to become a “big” program, I’d rather the team lose every game till eternity. Football is not worth it
Just for comparison, I once signed up for an academic graduate program and because of the retirement of one professor, they shut the program down and nobody gave a shit about us actual students being denied the opportunity to learn in the program we signed up for.
Not even just like the death of a 19-year-old, the death of a 19-year-old for which they were directly and entirely responsible.
“This story is stranger, and sadder, than it initially appears.”
So who was there to fix the cable, and who was the pizza delivery guy?
