Yeah, i'm up to episode 5 and even though it starts in a somewhat dark place it gets more goofier and light-hearted with progression and settles into a nice hang-out vibe, which i didn't expect at all. Really pleasant surprise and if continues to be as good it'll be up there with BoJack among my favorite things

My theory is that she's his daughter and that's why she acted so sketchy when he mentioned her age. Also, that actress is clearly doing "April Ludgate in s2 of Parks and Rec" impression.

Poor Rich Sommer is just doomed to play slimy douchebags now.

Thought it was a great pilot. Really liked that the show was mostly going for laughs, because when you hear "dramedy from writers of OITNB and Nurse Jackie" you expect it to be a drama with like one joke per episode, but here even dramatic moments like the final fight in the ring are just another source of jokes.

I said it in the movie review, but Warcraft is a movie that shoul've tried to please the fans of the game less. It really should've been "Orc planet is dying, orcs find a portal to another world, WAR" and that's it - instead the whole Medivh plotline completely derails the plot and should've been completely cut out in

That doesn't sound at all exciting. Everyone who played WoW are fucking sick of Thrall, so dedicating a trilogy to him is a pretty bad idea. Plus, that would've ment they're cutting majority of iconic/beloved characters since Lich King events are still decades away.

"and also stars Michael Rapaport"

GODDAMN FEMINISTS! We're getting CUCKED by bears now boys!!

11/22/63 had a really cute leading couple.

I understand, but i think a lot of people won't have a good time watching it, you can compare it to recent acclaimed horror films like The VVitch or It Comes At Night which both got absolutely abysmal Cimescore grade.

This seems…unnecessary. The reason why the joke was funny was because Babadook itself is a scary character (literal manifestation of grief is creepy, who would've thought?) so seeing him as a happy rainbow-colored symbol of Pride was amusing.

Yeah, this sounds like a movie i'll skim through before listening to one of the dozen "bad movie" podcast episodes that it'll be undoubtedly inspire within the next 6 months. It's this year's Collateral Beauty.

She's trying to re-invent herself because she has to do it, not because she wants to. Her image and popularity is tied to her sexuality and she's getting older, so she has to change or she's fucked, there's million of 18-20 year olds breathing down her back.

Have you heard CRJ's Warm Blood? https://www.youtube.com/wat… Cause i always imagined how "mainstream" version of Purity Ring would sound, it even has weird lyrics about body fluids.

The Shallows was fucking awful and i can't believe it has 77% on RT, which tricked me into watching it.

>only Simon (Barry!) had a power related to his personality

I know that remake is universally hated, but i didn't mind it. It felt more like a companion show to me? All favorite characters from the original sucked - Sid, Cassie, Chris were all awful, but i remember enjoing episodes with Anwar, Michelle and Jal analogues the most.

I mean, that could've been their plan all along? Channel probably wants an X-men show, but it's too expensive and already owned by other studios, while Misfits is recognizable enough and probably cheap.

Once they re-tooled the show with new cast and build the show around Rudy it became entertaining again. S1 is by far the best one, but s4 and 5 are way better than s2 and 3 with the original cast. Imo show should've never tried serialized storytelling, it became such a convoluted, confusing mess halfway through s2,

I said it in previous article, but Misfits isn't going to work outside of British tv due to the different rating standards, shit that they were allowed to show on E4 would never fly on freaking ABC Famiy and without nudity, violence and gross-out gags it's just kinda D-grade X-men.
