Should be coming out of storage soon!

I particularly like how Automobile's page layout style of a 1" x 1" square of content surrounded by ads fills me with the same sense of ennui as the list of bland vehicles it profiles.

I regret not finding $3,000 to buy my brother's 1968 Camaro when he fell on hard times.

@Ash78, 15 stone: It was about cars in a roundabout way - Old Detroit vs. New.

@KTown Hoonboy: My understanding is that LeMons is mostly about dressing up like a retard and getting yelled at by the judges who can be bribed, while Chumpcar is about racing cheap cars.

Hmm, that write-up makes Chumpcar sound like more fun than LeMons. Are you going to take that lying down?

Some Jalops you are - no one mentioned the mistake in the write-up? Torinos were unibody until the '72 restyle.

I have a question - do all these spare parts fall under the $500 rule? I mean, having whole spare engines seems more like traditional racing to me (ie. big budget), which doesn't really fall under the heading of LeMons, in my opinion.

I wouldn't mind having my '62 Lincoln back. It was in really nice shape and it drove like a dream. I sold it in 2000 for a down payment on my house.

You pussies complaining about $400 here or $1000 there need to step up to old cars.

Why has no one mentioned Chevy Rally wheels? Especially with the '67 caps. Just a classic design that makes any car look better.

I used to have a '62 hardtop. It was the nicest car I ever owned, but whatever you do, don't buy a busted down one!

I don't even want to know how much the cars in this photo are worth now...

As a home distiller I take special pride in my 'shine. No impurities means no hangovers!

Sweet car - hope it raises the value of all Torinos!

I brought my '94 E-150 van in for an oil change and to get a new oil pan (due to a rust leak) as I was taking a long trip the next day, and without telling me, they replaced my oil pump. But they left the original pump drive in place.

I gave up on my '66 Galaxie after I'd spent $12K on it and it turned out to have a badly rusty and twisted frame. However I still miss it.

People are always confused by the amount of profit - but what's the margin? Isn't net less than 10%?
