I get that they were trying to pay tribute to Jaguar, but why the hell would you make a motorcycle that makes the rider look like they're having relations with a cat?

I'd say we're in a resurgence of attractive race cars that last couple years. Computational fluid dynamics lets designers design more subtly shaped and clean looking bodies. Road based race cars end up looking like lower, wider, angrier, carbon fiber-ier versions of their showroom counterparts. For example:
