I grew up near an Army artillery base that had an Atomic Annie on display. To this day, the idea of atomic artillery just blows my mind. I guess it fits with the mentality at the time though.

My sentiments exactly. I've been keeping an eye out for a bugeye WRX for a while and everyone seems to think they can throw some aftermarket crap on one and suddenly it's worth $22K with 130,000 on the odometer and two gears missing.
