Had a Audi A3 1.4 tfsi S line with 1200kms. Drove really nice and still hit 215 on the autobahn’s. Really wanted a 1er but by the time we got to Sixt that’s all they had left. I took responsibility as I had decided to drink all that German beerbeer the night before thus delaying departure in the morning

What rental company was this? I was there in Germany in April and Sixt couldn’t careless about the IDP. Just the usual credit card. Same deal in Irleand and UK... Though in Ireland they wanted to see your passport and it was HILARIOUS watching North Americans roasting clutches/grinding gears leaving the lot!

How to write for Jalopnik...

They also forgot to mention where you book your ticket.. What fare class is it? Booking directly on the airline website puts you ahead of those who used jimmybobcheapairfare.com or such.. Check in as soon as its open !

Fuel pump is a maintence item on E46s... BMW was smart by putting access from the rear seat. Unlike GM, Ford and Chrysler...

I just changed a clutch and other various small bits for a clients E39 M5 with 100000kms. The bill came to 4000$, half of that was for the clutch/ flywheel kit. Next up is going to be the vanos system/timing chain/ guides. Any E39 M5 you buy now will need some heavy maintenance...

Tavarish has mechanical knowledge? That’s news to me

Now playing

Why don’t these cars have a fire suppression system? It’s all about buying as much time as you can with it comes to fire. A fire suit has a specific rating for a certain length of time depending on layers a 3 layer will last with open flame for about 10-12 secs. IMO always buy the 3 layer suit from a known

Need for Speed: Porsche unleashed ! It got me hooked on the brand and the game still has a very large following. Got to love that throttle off oversteer from a 930!

So you checked the fuse box for the correct fuses before a road trip but hey who needs to fix leaking valve cover gaskets.. or having a look at the timing belt...

Nico should accept that he is the No.2 driver.

This entire track and race was a joke. I've seen regional races better laid out and planned out. Shame on IndyCar.

Ugh mainlanders...

This is a very Nascarish gimmick... They love fan votes for drivers and field inversions. Which are pretty stupid IMO as fans either select their favourite driver or choose to invert a stupid amount of cars. As bad as we might all hate the FIA sometimes I agree with them this time.

I've had to deal with grid girls a couple times. Shockingly the ones we dealt with weren't bimbos as we were expecting but rather models working for x PR company that was associated with a major oil company. That being said here I was dressed in a black firesuit as the rules dictated crew had to wear them on the grid

They stopped the impounding of cars years ago. The story I remember hearing is the local towing kingpin towed a car with a kid in it to the impound yard. The kid was found several hours later and said king pin was actually charged. So now all cars have to be checked for persons, it's illegal to tow with a person in

Once in the 1920s I heard someone call an East Asian a "slant" back then we also wore onions on our belts.

Oh forgot to mention

Years ago I was paying for parking monthly in a lot. The lot attendant was the same guy every single day, a crack head fellow that followed the rules of the lot to the T. I had parked my car early in the morning, hung my parking tag and left. I guess during the course of the day with the heat my review mirror fell off

I'm currently trying to sell an 08 M6 (SpaceGrey/Black) with new SMG clutch, Pump and actuator. The rod bearings were done at the same time along with the throttle actuators and vanos. No CEL, No lights on, Everything works as it should. I'm asking 24k (will take 21k) and the people I have calling me or emailing are
